Tutorial Feedback.

We have to decide what convergent media is to us. Using the whole video/animation about adverts, as an advert is our way of making it Hybrid media.

Infomercial style advert perhaps - they are a mix of animations (showing how the product works), peoples testimonials (interviews) and product placements.

We like the non-fluid style of the animation so we are going to focus on this - perhaps play on the idea of repetition and looping (such as adverts play on the idea of repetition: the more you see an advert the more you want the product). We might also focus on this in the music, and how the looping or repeating of a certain word can change the meaning of it.

In this we might look at such phrases that are always at the end of adverts, eg "terms and conditions apply" etc, and how phrases like this can have a different meaning in a different context or said differently.


We can make an infomercial in the style of a certain advert, without showing the product - just in the aesthetic of the company.
We can also use this to parody adverts?
